Nick is an accomplished business, government, and public affairs professional with a strong background in land management. He is Co-Founder and Managing Member of Bluejack Resources, LLC, a Texas-based land services company that is committed to deploying America's most qualified and experienced landmen throughout the country to provide essential services to their clients.

In his role as President, Nick is responsible for overseeing Bluejack's overall strategy and business operations. His leadership extends to client relations, overseeing the company’s production, and leading business development efforts, ensuring the long-term success and growth of the company.

Beyond his professional achievements, Nick is deeply committed to his community. He serves as the Mayor of Aledo, Texas, and is also the President of the Aledo Economic Development Council, where he plays a pivotal role in fostering the growth and development of his local area. Through these efforts, Nick combines his business expertise with his passion for public service to drive positive change in his community.

As the Vice President of Finance at Bluejack Resources in Fort Worth, Texas Ben Cain has a wealth of experience in accounting and financial roles.

Growing up, he always had a love for numbers and problem-solving, which led him to pursue degrees from TCU in accounting and finance and later returned to earn his MBA with an emphasis in Energy.

Ben has over 15 years of experience, primarily in the oil and gas industry, serving various roles in accounting and finance. He also has a keen interest in lead management and continuously strives to improve processes within his department.

His passion for reporting, analytics, and process improvement has been evident throughout his career, leading him to achieve numerous successes for the companies with whom he has worked.

In his free time, Ben enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.

Jeff Dempsey was born and raised in the small town of Crowley, Texas.From a young age, he developed a love for the land and a strong work ethic while helping his father run cattle.

After graduating from Texas Tech University with degrees in Finance and Economics Jeff began his career in the oil and gas industry. Currently, Jeff is a co-founder, managing partner, and holds the VP of Land position at Bluejack Resources.

In addition to his expertise in land acquisition analysis and project management, Jeff also has a natural talent for cultivating relationships. His great communication skills have allowed him to successfully negotiate deals and build partnerships that have greatly benefited his company.

Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys spending time on the golf course and being outdoors. He also continues to run cattle with his dad at their family ranch, never forgetting where he came from and the strong work ethic instilled in him from childhood.

With his passion for the industry and strong leadership skills, Jeff continues to make a significant impact in the oil and gas industry. He is always looking for new challenges to tackle and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
